just got through playing on IHOC lab and it was so laggy i could hardly play
ping was like 100..jumping to 1000 off and on...any ideas ??

No idea. That line was OK a few hours later when I tried it. It's been a little overloaded lately as my other line has been down, but traffic shaping should still give highest priority to the Quake server. I'll blame it on the weather.

the guy i was playing with had a very stable and fast connection, he said it was T10 (is there such a thing). Could he have been the problem ? also i was frequently loosing my connection..you know the phone icon in upper right corner of screen. This would happen when i would engage the opponent. connection would go in and out....thanks in advance )
